Grizzlies Hold Annual "Pooch On The Pond" Saturday

West Valley City, Utah - The Utah Grizzlies have announced that their second-annual "Pooch on the Pond" game will be Saturday, February 16 when they host the Bakersfield Condors at the E-Center at 7:05 p.m.

Fans are invited to bring their dogs to the game and sit in the special "pooch section." During the game, there will be a trophy awarded to the winner of the "Pooch Pageant." A photographer will be on hand to take pictures of the dogs, their owners and the team's mascot Grizzbee. In addition, a special edition of the "Kiss Cam" will also be unveiled during the game for the dogs and their owners.

The Humane Society of Utah will also be on hand with adoptable dogs for fans to take home.

"Pooch on the Pond" tickets can be purchased online at www.utahgrizzlies.com or at the E-Center box office. One dog will be admitted per person.

All dog owners will be required to show documentation of updated pet vaccinations and sign a waiver before entering the building. The dogs will only be allowed in designated areas of the arena and must be on a leash the entire time. There will be a special entrance on the Southeast side of the E-Center that will lead the dogs and their owners directly to their section.
