Ice Man Joins in Arbor Day Celebration

PENSACOLA, FL - While the Ice Pilots were battling the Checkers in Charlotte over the weekend, team mascot Ice Man participated in the 16th annual Arbor Day Tree Seedling Giveaway by International Paper.

The International Paper Pensacola Mill Forest Resources Division gave away 13,500 hardwood and pine seedlings on Saturday at University Mall. Families were able to choose from nine different varieties of trees which ranged from Cherry Laurel and Leyland Cypress to Red Maple and Loblolly Pine.
