
Grizzlies Fall to Rascals

Gateway Grizzlies News Release
The Gateway Grizzlies dropped the first of a three-game series to the River City Rascals 9-3 in front of 4,413 at GMC Stadium.
The Grizzlies are now 18-15 and are, for the first time since May 31, out of first place in the Frontier League West.
The Grizzlies fell behind 3-0 after just one-half inning, but tied it at 3 after the second inning. That was all the Grizzlies would get.
Newly-signed Ryan Sullivan made his professional debut going 2-3 with a triple, an RBI-single and a run scored. The Grizzlies had just five hits all night.
Ben Piatt and Jose Garcia thanks to bases-loaded walks.
Adam Jahnsen took the loss, going 5 1/3 innings allowing seven runs on six hits. He is now 0-1.
The Grizzlies and Rascals continue the Sonic Crosstown Clash Series with a 6:05 game Friday. Celebrate the Fourth of July with the Grizzlies-enjoy post-game fireworks, then stick around for the best seat for the Fair St. Louis Fireworks.
