Allen Americans News Release

Allen, Texas - The Allen Americans of the ECHL announced today that forward Greger Hanson has been loaned to Oklahoma City of the American Hockey League on a Player Tryout Offer.

Greger Hanson is in his second season with the Allen Americans, playing in 66 games total, with 29 goals and 42 assists for 71 points. He signed as a free agent last year with Allen and played a major role in the Americans winning their second straight championship. After signing with Cincinnati this past off-season, the Americans traded for the skilled forward, dealing Geoff Irwin to the Cyclones on October 22nd for Hanson.

"Greger has earned this opportunity with his outstanding play this season," said Allen Americans Head Coach and General Manager Steve Martinson. "He will be in the Barons lineup tonight."

Hanson is the third Americans player to get American Hockey League time this season. Aaron Dell played in five games for the Worcester Sharks this season and had a 1.72 GAA and a .917 SV%. Spencer Asuchak is currently with Providence of the American Hockey League and has played in three games so far with 1 goal and 2 assists along with 9 penalty minutes.

In other moves today, the Americans added Aaron Dell to the roster and placed goalie Riley Gill on reserve.

The Americans return to action on Saturday night at home against the Brampton Beast at 7:05 pm . Tickets are available online at www.ticketmaster.com or call (972) 912-1000 .
