
Greenville Drive Playoff Tickets Set to Go On Sale on Monday

Greenville, S.C. - With the Drive winning the South Atlantic League's First Half Southern Division Championship, professional playoff baseball will return to the Upstate on September 11th for the first time since 1997. And on Monday, August 10th fans will have their first chance to purchase tickets for the playoff games at Fluor Field.
Greenville Drive General Manager Mike deMaine commented on the playoffs, saying, "We are very excited to bring playoff baseball back to Greenville for the first time in 11 years, and the first time ever at Fluor Field. We anticipate the atmosphere at Fluor Field to be like none other as our loyal fans support the Drive's run at the 2009 South Atlantic League Championship."
The schedule for the 2009 South Atlantic League Playoffs will be as follows:
Southern Division Championship Series
Game 1 - Wednesday, September 9th (at 2nd half winner)
Game 2 - Friday, September 11th (7:05 PM at Fluor Field)
Game 3 - Saturday, September 12th (7:05 PM at Fluor Field), if necessary
South Atlantic League Championship Series
Game 1 - Monday, September 14th (at Northern Division Champion)
Game 2 - Tuesday, September 15th (at Northern Division Champion)
Game 3 - Thursday, September 17th (7:05 PM at Fluor Field)
Game 4 - Friday, September 18th (7:05 PM at Fluor Field), if necessary
Game 5 - Saturday, September 19th (7:05 PM at Fluor Field), if necessary
Ticket prices will remain at the same price levels for the playoffs as the regular season, with Box Seats at $8, Reserved Seats at $7, Reserved Terrace at $6, and Lawn & Deck Seats at $5. To guarantee the same seat for all of the playoff games, fans are encouraged to purchase all five games at once.
"This is a great opportunity for our fans to see some of the top prospects in the Boston Red Sox they vie for a championship early in their professional careers," added Drive Co-Owner and President Craig Brown. "We are delighted to be able to extend the Drive's commitment to provide affordable, family-friendly entertainment and great baseball action in the Upstate beyond the regular season!"
Fans may purchase playoff tickets in person at the Fluor Field Box Office, located at 945 South Main Street, by telephone at (864) 240-4500, or online at www.GreenvilleDrive.com. The Fluor Field Box Office is open Monday through Friday, 10 AM - 6 PM, and Saturday, 10 AM - 4 PM.
