Greensboro's Bayrack Named InGlasCo ECHL Player of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. - Greensboro left wing Mike Bayrack is the InGlasCo ECHL Player of the Week for February 9-15.

Returning to the ice after missing four games while on the seven-day injured reserve, Bayrack scored nine points (5g-4a) and was +6 while helping the Generals go 3-0-0 to improve to 31-20-1 and second place in the Southern Division.

Playing for the first time since January 29, Bayrack scored two goals and was +2 in Greensboro's 3-2 overtime win against Roanoke on February 10. He had five points (2g-3a) and was +2 in the Generals 6-5 overtime win against defending Kelly Cup Champion Atlantic City on February 12 and scored two points (1g-1a) in a 5-2 win at Augusta on February 13.

The 5-11 and 185-pound Bayrack leads the Generals with 27 goals and is second on the team with 53 points (27g-26a) in 48 games.

In 2002-03 with Greensboro, Bayrack scored nine points (4g-5a) in 12 regular season games and led the Generals with eight assists and ranked second in scoring with 10 points (2g-8a) in eight Kelly Cup Playoff games. He opened 2002-03 with Toledo and scored 27 points (11g-16a) in 47 games with the Storm.

On behalf of Mike Bayrack, a case of pucks will be donated to a Greensboro area youth hockey organization by InGlasCo.
