
Greensboro Swarm Announce 23-24 Season Opener Roster and Basketball Operations Additions

Greensboro Swarm News Release
The Greensboro Swarm, the NBA G League affiliate of the Charlotte Hornets, announced today the Season Opener roster for the 2023-24 season. The organization tips its 8th season, on Saturday, November 11, at 7:00 p.m. ET in Uniondale, NY against the Long Island Nets (Brooklyn Nets affiliate).
Greensboro currently stands at a 13-man roster.
Two-way players entering the season are Amari Bailey, Leaky Black, and Theó Maledon. Bailey was selected by the Hornets in the second round (No. 41 overall) of the 2023 NBA Draft out of University of California, Los Angeles, Black went undrafted out of the University of North Carolina, and Maledon returns as a two-way player for the second season.
R.J. Hunter, Angelo Allegri, Nathan Mensah are the three affiliate players represented, along with trades Terrell Brown Jr. and Jeremiah Tilmon. The Greensboro 2023-23 NBA G League Draft pick is also included - Isiaih Mosley.
Additionally, two tryout players Jaylen Sebree and Alex Lomax are featured.

Additionally, Cole Teal begins his first season as the General Manager. Abigail Abiva is promoted as Head Athletic Trainer. The other additions to the basketball operations staff include Philip Jones as Manager of Basketball Operations and Player Development, Tom Fox as Head Video Coordinator, Irfan Fazal and FaFa Lu as Basketball Operations Assistants.
