Goldeyes Surpass Five Million Fans

WINNIPEG - The Winnipeg Goldeyes have surpassed the 5,000,000 fan mark.
With a crowd of 5,523 for Wednesday afternoon's game against the Laredo Lemurs, the Goldeyes have entertained 5,001,365 fans since 1994.
"It's truly astounding that we have surpassed 5 million fans," Goldeyes general manager Andrew Collier said. "It shows how supportive our fans are. We can't thank them enough for helping building our franchise into what it is today."
To celebrate this accomplishment, the Goldeyes will give away 5 millionth fan t-shirts to the first 5,000 fans in attendance on June 11 for Winnipeg's game against the Wichita Wingnuts.
