
Golden State Warriors Assign Guard Jacob Evans III to Santa Cruz

SANTA CRUZ, CA - The back-to-back NBA Champion Golden State Warriors have assigned guard Jacob Evans III to the Santa Cruz Warriors, both teams announced today. Evans will be active for tonight's game against the Agua Caliente Clippers at Kaiser Permanente Arena (tip-off 7:00 p.m. PDT) on NBC Sports Bay Area).
Evans III (6'6, 210) has appeared in 20 games (15 starts) with the Santa Cruz Warriors this season, averaging 11.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 26.4 minutes per contest.
The first-year guard from the University of Cincinnati, who was selected with the 28th overall selection in the 2018 NBA Draft, has appeared in 26 games for Golden State this season, averaging 0.8 points, 0.5 rebounds and 0.6 assists in 4.6 minutes per game.
The Pacific Division Champion Santa Cruz Warriors (32-16) will host the Agua Caliente Clippers (26-22) for a back-to-back series this weekend at Kaiser Permanente Arena. The Sea Dubs will host a Tie Dye Charitable Jersey Night this evening, with the first 1,000 fans receiving a Warriors Tie Dye Rally Towel, courtesy of Awe Sum Organics.
