
Golden State Warriors Assign Guard Jacob Evans III to Santa Cruz

SANTA CRUZ, CA - The back-to-back NBA Champion Golden State Warriors have assigned guard Jacob Evans III to the Santa Cruz Warriors, both teams announced today. Evans will be active for tonight's game against the Oklahoma City Blue at Oracle Arena in Oakland, California (tip-off 5:00 p.m. PST on NBC Sports Bay Area).
Evans III (6'6, 210) has appeared in 16 games (11 starts) with the Santa Cruz Warriors this season, averaging 11.8 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 26.5 minutes per contest.
The first-year guard from the University of Cincinnati, who was selected with the 28th overall selection in the 2018 NBA Draft, has appeared in 23 games with Golden State this season, averaging 0.6 points, 0.4 rebounds and 0.6 assists in 4.3 minutes per game.
The Santa Cruz Warriors (27-11) will host the Oklahoma City Blue (25-14) tonight at Oracle Arena (tip-off 5:00 p.m. PST) in a matchup of the two best records in the NBA G League. The first 10,000 fans in attendance today will receive a limited-edition Klay Thompson Santa Cruz Edition Bobblehead.
