ONTARIO, Calif. - The Agua Caliente Clippers of Ontario (19-19) remain undefeated since the All-Star break, defeating the Austin Spurs (16-21) on Sunday afternoon, 110-96.
Shooting an efficient 50 percent from the field Agua Caliente led for nearly the entire game, trailing only in the opening seconds. The Clippers took their largest lead of the night with 5:45 left in the third quarter, extending their advantage to 70-54 on an Angel Delgado layup.
Delgado led the way for the Clippers, recording a double-double of 21 points and 10 rebounds. Ray McCallum added 17 points on 7-of-13 shooting from the field off the bench.
Austin was led by San Antonio Spurs first-round pick Lonnie Walker IV, who scored 20 points off the bench. Ben Moore added 18 points and 12 rebounds for a double-double.
The Clippers look to repeat their performance and sweep the regular season series on Tuesday in an afternoon rematch against Austin. The third and final matchup between the two teams is slated to tip off at 11 a.m. PDT inside the Citizens Business Bank Arena.
