Hamilton, Ontario - Three Hamilton Tiger-Cats earned CFL Player of the Week honours today in recognition of their outstanding play in Monday's Labour Day Classic victory over the Toronto Argonauts.

Quarterback Kevin Glenn was named Offensive Player of the Week, Markeith Knowlton was named Special Teams Player of the Week and Dave Stala was named Canadian Player of the Week.

Glenn completed 27 of 33 pass attempts (81.8%) for 313 yards and a touchdown against Toronto to help secure the Ticats first four-game regular season winning streak since 1998. Glenn has thrown for 2,754 yards and 15 games through nine games this season.

Knowlton came up with a huge play in the waning seconds of the first half when he blocked an Argos punt and recovered the ball in the end zone for a touchdown. In his fifth CFL season, Knowlton has recorded 44 defensive tackles, one quarterback sack, one tackle for a loss, one interception and is the only CFL player to block two kicks this season.

Stala led all Ticats receivers with seven receptions for 90 yards and a touchdown on Labour Day. Stala has caught 45 passes for 545 yards and three touchdowns, and has been named Canadian Player of the Week three times this season.
