B.C. Lions News Release
(Vancouver) The BC Lions Football Club announced today that fullback Rolly Lumbala has returned to the club following his release from the Miami Dolphins last week.
The club's second-round selection (ninth overall) in the 2008 CFL Canadian Draft had taken advantage of the option-year clause in his contract to sign with the Dolphins. He returns to the Lions after two full seasons in Black and Orange appearing in 36 regular season games and seeing duty primarily on special teams where he's notched 31 tackles.
"I'm excited to be back," said Lumbala. "I am grateful for the opportunity to have attended training camp with the Dolphins and I am equally grateful to return to BC."
