Winnipeg Blue Bombers News Release
WINNIPEG, MB - The Winnipeg Football Club is proud to announce that the 7th Annual Manitoba Lotteries Banjo Bowl has sold out. Fans have scooped up the remaining tickets as they look for revenge on our prairie rivals who defeated the Blue Bombers 27-23 last week. Since the Banjo Bowl was introduced in 2004, the series is tied with each club having won three times.
The game kicks off at Noon on Sunday, September 12th but the fun begins days before.
On Friday night, fans are invited to come down to the Upperdeck Sports Bar in McPhillips Street Station Casino at 6pm where Blue Bomber players and coaches will be in attendance as well as the Blue Lightning Dance Team who will be selling their calendars as well as performing throughout the night.
On Saturday, Manitoba Lotteries presents "Family Day" at Canad Inns Stadium where fans are encouraged to attend the Blue Bombers' walkthrough at 10:15am and stay for the President's BBQ, an autograph session and games for kids.

The weekend wraps up on Sunday when the Saskatchewan Roughriders take on the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in what is an important game for both teams. Winnipeg will be looking to get back on track following their tough defeat last week and will do so with Steven Jyles at the helm of the offence whose quarterback rating is currently second in the league behind only Montreal's Anthony Calvillo. Saskatchewan meanwhile is chasing the Calgary Stampeders for top spot in the West Division and will look to gain an important two points on Sunday.
Bomber fans in the Westman region are encouraged to contact Prairie Coach Tours at 204-727-5215 if they are interested in attending the Banjo Bowl as a limited number of tickets still remain for the Banjo Bowl Express Bus Tour Package.
