
Blue Bombers Add RB to Practice Roster

WINNIPEG, MB - The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have added import running back Chris Garrett to the practice roster.
Garrett (5-8, 185, Ohio, DOB: February 11, 1987 in New York City, New York) was a standout returner with the Bobcats finishing his collegiate career returning 43 punts for 450 yards and a touchdown, as well as 82 kickoff returns for 2,185 yards and three touchdowns. Garrett was also a dominant running back and carried the ball 300 times for 1,346 yards and seven touchdowns over his four years. He went undrafted in the 2010 NFL Draft but attended minicamp with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers who took a look at him because of his explosive speed.
