
Gladiators For Kids Fund Accepting Grant Applications

Atlanta Gladiators News Release
The Gwinnett Gladiators announced today that they are now accepting Grant Applications for the "Gladiators for Kids" Fund.
Grants will range from $250 to $1,000, with no grant to exceed $1,000 for programs and specific projects of the organization submitting the request. Applications will be accepted through December 15th with grants awarded in January of 2005.
The organization that is making the Grant Application must be a registered 501-c-3 non-profit and based in Georgia whose key emphasis is on children and child related activities. Applications will be reviewed and considered by the Gladiators Foundation for Kids Board of Directors.
Groups and organizations that are interested in applying for a Grant can download the complete instructions online at www.gwinnettgladiators.com or stop by the Gwinnett Gladiators offices located in the Performing Arts Building of the Gwinnett Center to pick up an application.
The Board of Directors for the Gladiators for Kids fund includes Toby Jeffreys - Majority Owner of the Gwinnett Gladiators, Steve Chapman â General Manager of the Gwinnett Gladiators, Jim Hall â Gwinnett Gladiators Director of Community Relations, Cam Brown â Captain of the Gwinnett Gladiators, Jackie, Ginn â Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce and Kathy Pessolano â Gwinnett Gladiators Season Ticket Holder.
The Central Division Champion Gwinnett Gladiators continue their second season at the Arena at Gwinnett Center on Friday, December 3rd at 7:35 p.m. as they host the Greenville Grrrowl. The Gladiators play all 36 home games at the Arena at Gwinnett Center located on Sugarloaf Parkway in Duluth and are the AA affiliate of the Atlanta Thrashers.
