Gladiators acquire Fultz from Texas in Exchange for Sawruk

The Gwinnett Gladiators announced today that they have acquired forward Ryan Fultz from the Texas Wildcatters in exchange for forward Alex Sawruk.

Fultz has appeared in 48 games this season for Texas where he has scored 13 goals and 12 assists for 25 points. Fultz began his professional career with the New Orleans Brass (now the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies) in the 2000-01 season posting a career high 21 goals and 29 assists for 50 points.

The Rochester, Michigan native represented the Arkansas Riverblades in the 2001-02 ECHL All Star Game in Trenton, New Jersey. Fultz posted 22 goals and 19 assists for 41 points in 52 collegiate games with Bowling Green State University.

Fultz should be available for Friday's 7:35 pm. tilt at the Arena at Gwinnett Center against the Augusta Lynx.

The Central Division Champion Gwinnett Gladiators continue their second season at the Arena at Gwinnett Center on Friday, February 25th against the Augusta Lynx at 7:35 p.m. The Gladiators offer several ticket packages for different needs as well as group outings, suites and birthday parties. The Gladiators play all 36 home games at the Arena at Gwinnett Center located on Sugarloaf Parkway in Duluth and are the AA affiliate of the Atlanta Thrashers.
