Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies News Release
ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. - The Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies of the ECHL, a proud affiliate of the New York Islanders, have announced that defenseman Brian Fahey has been re-assigned by Worcester of the American Hockey League, while defenseman Dan Peters has been placed on the 30-day injured reserve.
Fahey, 23, is tied for fourth among Bullies defensemen in scoring with three goals and 11 points through 26 games. The Glenview, IL native, who was recalled to Worcester for the second time this season on February 10, skated in a single game with the Ice Cats and notched an assist. Fahey was a finalist for the 2003-04 ECHL Rookie of the Year and ECHL Defenseman of the Year after finishing with 11 goals and 37 points in 55 games last season. His efforts did earn him a spot on the 2003-04 ECHL All-Rookie Team. On June 30, 2004, Fahey signed a one-way contract for the 2004-05 season with Worcester.
Peters, 27, is tied for the team lead among defensemen in scoring with four goals and 13 points and leads Atlantic City with plus-minus ratio of +13.
Atlantic City returns home to Historic Boardwalk Hall at 7:05PM Friday for the first of a two-game series with the Dayton Bombers.
