180 Homeless Veterans Given Free Tickets to Sunday's Game

San Diego Gulls News Release
What: The San Diego Gulls and the North Bay Association will host 180 homeless veterans at the Gulls game on Sunday.
When: Sunday, Feb. 27. Game-time is 5:05 p.m.
Where: San Diego Sports Arena
Why: The North Bay Association represents approximately 900 businesses in the Midway area. With the help of the Gulls and San Diego Sports Arena, the North Bay Association wants to support our homeless veterans. The North Bay Homeless Veterans Volunteer Program has brought veterans living in the City's Winter Homeless Shelter together with good corporate citizens in a variety of ways. Companies have donated clothing for the men and a TV for the facility, while the veterans have volunteered for community clean-up, such as grafitti and weed removal. The Gulls event is an extension of the program, allowing our homeless veterans an evening out at the Sports Arena.
