Giants Kick off Road Trip with a 1-0 Loss to Prince George

Prince George, B.C. - Tuesday night at the CN Centre in Prince George, the Vancouver Giants (6-3-1-0) dropped a 1-0 decision to the Prince George Cougars (6-6-0-0). Cougars forward Connor Bowie scored the game's lone goal at 3:28 of the second period on a power play and got 27 saves from goaltender Tyler Brennan to snap their three-game losing skid. The Giants got 23 saves from Will Gurski in defeat.

2nd Period

PG - Connor Bowie notched the game's lone goal off the rush at the 3:28 mark of the second period. Bowie took a feed from Blake Eastman, crossed into the Giants zone and wired a shot past Will Gurski from the right-wing circle. Ethan Samson added the second assist.

- The Vancouver Giants were without forwards Justin Sourdif, Zack Ostapchuk and Justin Lies due to injuries. Sourdif and Ostapchuk are both considered day-to-day while Justin Lies is week-to-week.

- Tuesday marked the Giants debut for defencemen Alex Cotton and Evan Toth who were both acquired last week in Friday trades.

- The Giants are now 2-1 for the season against Prince George.

- Tuesday's loss in Prince George marked the first regulation loss for the Giants since October 22nd - A span of five games.
