Record for season: 6-11-2, 10 points - 4th in Eastern Conference
Player Notes: Jan Eriksson has taken over the team lead in scoring with 14 points on four goals and 10 assists...Mike Zbriger leads the team with 11 goals and id tied for fourth in the league...Zbriger is also tied for third in rookie scoring in the league...Bryan Worosz in eighth in the league with a 3.02 goals against average...Gerard Miller leads the Generals defensemen with 14 points on five goals and nine assists and is fourth in the league in scoring by defensemen.
Team Notes: The Generals have the third best power play in the league at 16.9% and seventh best penalty kill at 83.1%...The Generals are outshooting their opponents in the third period of games 207-173...Flint leads the league in shots on goal against per game at 28.32...12 of the Generals first 19 games have been decided by two goals or less...Seven of the Generals first ten home games have been decided by two goals or less.

Thursday, November 23 Flint 3 @ Mukegon 2
The Generals ended a two game losing streak by handing the Fury its first home loss of the season. Bobby Reynolds gave the Generals a 1-0 at 8:00 of the first period on a goal from Gerard Miller and Terry Marchant. Muskegon tied the game 37 seconds later and took a 2-1 lead at 2:37 of the second period. Flint tied the game 2-2 at 9:40 of the second period on a Mike Zbriger goal. Jan Eriksson assisted on the tying goal. The Generals reclaimed the lead 3-2 at 7:19 of the third period with a power play goal. Jeff Zehr scored the goal from Marchant and Eriksson. Bryan Worosz made 33 saves on 35 shots for his second win of the season.
Friday, November 24 Bloomington 1 @ Flint 3
This was the first ever meeting between the Generals and the expansion Bloomington Prairie Thunder. Neither team scored during the first two periods with Bloomington out shooting Flint 15-14. Bloomington took a 1-0 lead at 1:42 of the third period on a Mathieu Brunelle unassisted goal. Mike Zbriger tied the game 1-1 with a power play goal from Jeff Zehr and Tony Tuzzolino at 3:30. Tuzzolino, playing his first game with the Generals, gave Flint the lead at 5:33 with Zbriger and Jan Eriksson assisting. Bobby Reynolds ended the scoring at 10:35 with a power play goal. Terry Marchant and Dion Hyman assisted on the goal. Bryan Worosz won his second consecutive game, and third game of the season, by making 25 saves on 26 shots.
Saturday, November 25 Kalamazoo 4 @ Flint 3
Kalamazoo made their first trip to Flint to close the weekend and ended the Generals two game winning streak with a 4-3 win. The Wings took a 1-0 lead with a power play goal at 2:44 of the first period. The Generals tied the game 1-1 at 15:51 on a Justin Kinnunen goal from Jordan Fox and Gerard Miller. Kalamazoo scored a late first period goal to take a 2-1 lead after one period. The Generals tied the game 2-2 at 3:06 of the second period on a Jan Eriksson goal from Tony Tuzzolino and Miller. The Wings scored twice in the third period, at 3:56 and 17:21, to take a 4-2 lead. The Generals got back to within one goal at 4-3 at 19:06 on a Jeff Zehr goal with the goalie pulled for the extra attacker. Tuzzolino and Bobbt Reynolds assisted on the goal. Jason Muzzatti made 23 saves on 27 shots in the loss.
PREVIEW OF UPCOMING GENERALS GAMES November 27-December 3
Friday, December 1 Rockford @ Flint 7:30p.m.
This will be the first meeting of the season between the Generals and the Rockford IceHogs. Rockford enters the week in second place in the Western Conference and winless in its last two games.
Saturday, December 2 Port Huron @ Flint 7:30p.m.
This will be the fifth meeting of the season between the Generals and the Flags. The Generals are 3-1-0 against Port Huron, 1-1-0 at home. The Generals have a three game winning streak against Port Huron entering this game.
Sunday, December 3 Rockford @ Flint 4:00p.m.
The Generals close out the weekend with a game against Rockford that was rescheduled from Wednesday, October 25. Anyone that had tickets for the game originally scheduled for October 25 will be able to use them for this game. It will be the second meeting of the season and the weekend between the two teams.
Generals Player of the Week:
The Generals Player of the Week is Tony Tuzzolino. In his first two games with the Generals, Tuzzolino had four points on one goal and three assists. He had the game winning goal and an assist on Friday against Bloomington and added two assists against Kalamazoo on Sunday.He also played at a +2 rating.
Generals Goaltender of the Week:
The Generals Goaltender of the Week is Bryan Worosz. Worosz went 2-0-0 in two games played last week. He won Thursday in Muskegon by making 33 saves on 35 shots. It was the first home loss of the season, and just second loss overall, for the Fury. The next night he made 25 saves on 26 shots to beat Bloomington 3-1 at home. He ended the week with a .951 save percentage and a 1.50 goals against average.
