
Hogs split points in week seven

Rockford IceHogs News Release
The Rockford IceHogs split three of six points during Week 7 of the 2006-07 regular season against its top rivals. The light schedule comes to an end during Week 8 as the Hogs will play 15 games in the next 31 days starting Friday. The IceHogs begin a five game road swing against Flint Friday night.
Wednesday, Nov. 22: Rockford IceHogs 3 at Quad CIty Mallards 2
Friday, Nov. 24: Quad City Mallards 5 vs. Rockford IceHogs 3
Saturday, Nov. 25: Fort Wayne Komets 4 vs. Rockford IceHogs 3 (SO)
Transactions:
-Rockford winger Mike Reagan was released on Saturday, Nov. 25.
-Rockford defenseman Jared Bourassa was traded to Bloomington for future considerations on Friday, Nov. 24.
-Rockford goalie Eric Pflingler was added on Friday, Nov. 24.
-Rockford goalie Frederic Cloutier was loaned to the Milwaukee Admirals (AHL) on Friday, Nov. 24.
-Rockford winger Jason Notermann was signed on Friday, Nov. 24.
-Rockford winger Mike Reagan was signed on Wednesday, Nov. 22.

After playing just 16 games in the season's first 49 days, the IceHogs will now play 15 games in 31 days beginning Friday in Flint. ïâ-
Goalie Frederic Cloutier received his second AHL call-up this past week and played in all three games for the Milwaukee Admirals over the weekend. ïâ-
Cloutier made 11 saves on 12 shots in his first appearance on Friday and picked-up the win in the Admirals 2-1 overtime win on Saturday. The goalie was tagged with the loss on Sunday in Hamilton, allowing four goals on 10 Bulldogs shots. ïâ-
Cloutier made 24 saves in the win over the Moose and was the #1 star of the game. ïâ-
The IceHogs welcomed its 1-millionth fan on Friday against Quad City. ïâ-
Winger Robin Big Snake has a goal in four of the Hogs last five games. ïâ-
Defenseman Luke Fritshaw has a point in five of his last seven games (1g-4a-5pts).
Hot Hog Week 7:
Center Preston Mizzi has been a consistent scorer for the IceHogs since returning to the lineup. Mizzi accumulated a goal with two assists during Week 7 for the IceHogs and moved into fifth place on the IceHogs all-time goal scoring list.
Upcoming Games:
Friday, Dec. 1 at Flint Generals. The game starts at 6:30 p.m. Rockford begins a five-game road swing on Friday in Flint with this season's first showdown against Kevin Kerr's Generals.
Saturday, Dec. 2 at. Fort Wayne Komets. The puck drops at 6:30 p.m. The Hogs and Komets hook up for the fifth time this season when they meet in Fort Wayne. The contest is the second game for Rockford on its five-game road swing.
Sunday, Dec. 3 at Flint Generals. Game time is 3:05 p.m. In a game re-scheduled from Wednesday, Oct. 25, the IceHogs return to the Perani's Hockey World Arena to take on the Flint Generals. The game is the second of three on the season in Flint.

Rockford IceHogs fans can catch all IceHogs Regular and Post Season games on Rockford's Voice, WNTA-AM 1330. Fans can also watch and listen to the Hogs on the World Wide Web with the B2 Networks! Once again this season, ESPN"ËRadio "The Jock" 1380 AM will broadcast 20 Hogs games during the regular season. Check your local listings for game times and dates. Also, fans with Insight Cable television can tune in to Channel 57 for all the IceHogs hockey action this season. The broadcast begins with the Pregame Show 30 minutes before the puck drops. Bud Light HogTalk returns this week to Shooter's North located at 7742 Forest Hills Road in Loves Park from 7-8 p.m. WXRX's Jim Stone and Double T host the weekly show and this week they will be joined by IceHogs skaters Mike Letizia and Eric Lizon and IceHogs Head Coach Steve Martinson.
