Three Keys To The Game Presented By Nebraska Department Of Transportation
Key 1: Second Time's The Charm
- After dropping the weekend opener the Stars are looking to bounce back with a victory to split the weekend set tonight. Lincoln is 3-1 in games against the same opponent that they lost to the night before. The Stars are 8-9-0-1 after losses this season.
Key 2: Ready To Go
- The Stars were outshot 15-7 in the first period last night but scored twice and were tied up after the opening frame. Lincoln has been outscored 336-302 overall in the first 20 minutes and head coach Rocky Russo emphasized the need for a stronger start after last night's loss.
Key 3: Take A Lead And Hang On
- The Stars have won two of their last three games but have only held two brief leads in those games. Last night Lincoln held a 2-1 lead for 9:06 in the first period before Waterloo tied it up. The Stars have not ended the first or second period in the lead in any of their last three games.
