TULSA, OK. - Colorado Eagles goaltender Clarke Saunders turned aside all 29 shots thrown his way for his second straight shutout, as the Eagles topped the Tulsa Oilers 1-0 on Saturday. Defenseman Michael Sdao scored the game's lone goal, en route to Colorado's seventh consecutive victory. The Eagles claimed the win despite being short-benched to just 14 skaters in the contest.

Sdao gave Colorado an early 1-0 advantage when he blistered home a slapshot from the point at the 9:27 mark of the first period. Eagles forward Casey Pierro-Zabotel picked up the assist on the goal, which was Sdao's second in as many games.

Colorado would continue to keep the Oilers off the scoreboard in the second and third periods with some stellar defensive play and 22 additional saves from Saunders. The Eagles would end the night going a perfect 2-for-2 on the penalty kill and 0-for-3 on the power play.

The Eagles conclude their four-game road trip with a meeting against the Utah Grizzlies on Wednesday, December 21st at 7:05pm MT.

Season tickets for the 2016-17 season are on-sale now and can be reserved with a $50 deposit per seat by calling the Eagles ticket office at 970-686-SHOT (7468). A complete schedule can be found at www.ColoradoEagles.com.
