TODAY: The Solar Bears (24-25-5-1) square off against the Norfolk Admirals (210-28-5-1) in the penultimate match of the 2017-18 regular season series. Orlando holds a 1-3-0-1 record against Norfolk this season, but only trails in total goals by a 16-14 margin.

PLAYOFF PICTURE: Orlando's win over Florida on Friday pushed the Solar Bears to within three points of third-place Atlanta, with three games in hand. Orlando is also looking to build a cushion on its hold on the fourth and final playoff spot in the South Division, as the Solar Bears lead Norfolk by six points.

NOVAK LEADS SERIES: Forward Max Novak paces the Solar Bears in head-to-head competition against the Admirals this season, with seven points (2g-5a) in five games. The third-year pro picked up two assists in Friday's win for his 11th multi-point game of the season.

SCORE FIRST: As was the case on Friday, scoring first has often helped the Solar Bears' pursuit of a win. Orlando is 7-2-1-0 this season when scoring first on home ice.

FEJES GETS FIRST LOOK OF ADMIRALS: After a five-game set between Orlando and Norfolk in the month of December, the Solar Bears acquired Hunter Fejes from the Wheeling Nailers in early January. Fejes missed Wheeling's mid-November games against Norfolk, and so today's game will mark the sophomore forward's first crack at the Admirals this season.

MILESTONES:

Alex Gudbranson - 1 point from 50 career pro points (12g-37a)

Adam Phillips - 1 assist from 50 career pro assists

Joshua Winquist - 3 assists 100 career pro assists

Hunter Fejes - 4 assists from 50 career pro assists

AFFILIATE NOTES: The Toronto Marlies (39-15-0-1) endured a 7-4 loss to Rochester on Saturday to split their weekend series with the Americans - they will look to get back in the win column on Wednesday at home against the Syracuse Crunch. The Toronto Maple Leafs (39-20-5-0) edged the Boston Bruins by a 4-3 score last night and hit the road for a Monday night game in Tampa.

NEXT GAME: The Solar Bears are back at the ARS.com Rink at Amway Center on Monday, Feb. 26 as they host the Norfolk Admirals at 7 p.m. Single-game tickets for the 2017-18 season are now on sale at the Amway Center box office and ticketmaster.com.
