Cincinnati, OH - The Cincinnati Cyclones, proud ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's (NHL) Buffalo Sabres and American Hockey League's (AHL) Rochester Americans, have announced that forward Brandon McNally has been signed to a Professional Tryout Agreement (PTO) by the AHL's Chicago Wolves.
A native of Saugus, MA, McNally has appeared in 51 games for the Cyclones this season and is sixth on the team in scoring with 10 goals and 21 assists, while leading the team with 137 minutes in penalties.
McNally was acquired via trade in late November of last season from the Utah Grizzlies after accounting for seven points (3g, 4a) in 15 games. His offensive production continued with the Cyclones, totaling 13 goals and 14 assists in 51 games in Cincinnati. His best stretch offensively came between December 15-27 where he accounted for six points (3g, 3a) in four games played. McNally also had a six-game point streak (3g, 3a) from February 2-12, and led the Cyclones with 188 minutes in penalties on the season.
In addition to the Cyclones and Grizzlies, he has also seen ECHL time with the Brampton Beast and has accounted for 66 points (26g, 40a) in 124 total ECHL games, along with 353 minutes in penalties. Additionally, he has appeared in 61 AHL games with the San Diego Gulls, Hamilton Bulldogs, and St. John's Icecaps, having totaled16 points (9g, 7a).
Prior to turning pro in 2015, McNally was a four-year letter-winner at Dartmouth College where he racked up 31 goals and 34 assists in 105 career games, along with 196 penalty minutes.
