POSTGAME MEET AND GREET

THE MATCHUP

The Stingrays meet the Greenville Swamp Rabbits this afternoon for the fourth time in six days, with South Carolina earning victories over the Swamp Rabbits Friday and Saturday in Greenville. South Carolina is coming off a 4-1 victory Friday and a 4-3 overtime win on Saturday night away from home after Greenville beat the Stingrays at the North Charleston Coliseum Tuesday night. Stingrays forward Brett Cameron is currently on a nine game point streak while Stephan Vigier has points in four straight contests. The Stingrays' home penalty killing record still remains in the top spot in the league at 88.5%, while the Rabbits' away power play is currently 25th at 11.2%.

NINE'S JUST FINE

In Saturday's contest against the Greenville Swamp Rabbits, Stingrays forward Brett Cameron notched one goal, extending his point streak to nine straight games. On the month, Cameron has seven goals and seven assists while he has 18 goals and 24 assists for the season.

AND IT GOES ON AND ON AND ON....

In last night's contest against the Greenville Swamp Rabbits, South Carolina Stingrays forward Stephan Vigier extended his point streak to four games with a goal in the second period, helping the Stingrays to a 4-3 win on the road over the Rabbits. On the season, Vigier has 15 goals and 21 assists for 36 points in 50 games with the Stingrays.

LOVE YOU TENDER, LOVE YOU SWEET

South Carolina Stingrays goaltenders Mark Dekanich and Vitek Vanecek have been on a roll as of late. Mark Dekanich has won six of his last seven starts and currently stands at the seventh spot in the ECHL's goaltending leaders with 2.21 GAA. Vanecek is ranked eleventh with a GAA of 2.23, winning two out of the three latest contests he has started in. Vanecek is third in rookie goaltenders behind Anthony Peters of Florida and Ken Appleby of Adirondack.

EPP TO HIT 100

Defenseman Wade Epp missed last night's game due to illness, however his next contest will be his 100th career ECHL game. In 99 career games, Epp has 32 points (three goals, 29 assists) to go along with 201 penalty minutes.
