ROSTER UPDATE:

F Josh Jasek-Jepson was signed today... F Matt McCue was activated from 7-IR today... D Chris Brooks was transferred from 3-IR to 7-IR and D Chris Allen was placed on 3-IR today... Acquired F Mark Voakes and D Scott Marchesi from the Cincinnati Cyclones in exchange for future considerations, Mar. 9... G J.P. Levasseur was reassigned to Springfield on Sunday. He was with the team on Friday and Saturday in Idaho... G Timo Pielmeier was returned to the Condors on Saturday.

THE MATCHUP:

The Condors and Las Vegas Wranglers continue their five-game series tonight, after the Condors claimed a 5-2 win on Tuesday night. This is the final meeting between the two clubs in Bakersfield. The series shifts to Orleans Arena for three games on Friday, Saturday and Sunday to conclude the 12-game season series. With just one more win in the remaining four games, Bakersfield could clinch their first ever season series with Las Vegas. Their best head-to-head finish was a.500 (3-3-1) mark posted in 2006-07.

CONDORS NOTES:

C Gino Guyer scored the Condors 12th shorthanded tally last night. Only Cincinnati has more shorthanded goals (14) than the Condors this season. Conversely, only two teams have surrendered more shorthanded goals than the Wranglers (12) this season... D Eric Regan notched his 8th multiple-point effort last night. He ranks 2nd among ECHL blueliners with 14 goals and 6th with 37 points. In the last five seasons, Kevin Truelson is the only other defenseman to have at least 37 points in a season for Bakersfield... Bakersfield is 4-2-0 on Wednesdays this season, including 2-0-0 at home... When scoring the first goal, the Condors are 22-2-1... When out-shot the Condors are 9-5-1, including a 6-1-0 mark at home.

CELEBRITY PUCK-DROPPER

Tonight we'll be joined by local actor Ben LeJeune, who appears in the new film Tim Burton film "Alice in Wonderland," starring Johnny Depp. LeJeune, 21, is a Bakersfield native who will drop the ceremonial first puck.
