
Wranglers complete comeback, top Condors 3-2

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Las Vegas Wranglers (27-26-4-3, 61pts) came from behind to defeat the Bakersfield Condors (32-22-4-1, 69pts) 3-2 in front of 3,306 fans at Rabobank Arena on Wednesday night. RW Alex Bourret scored with 48.6 seconds remaining in the third period to complete the comeback.
Bakersfield struck early in the first period to take a 1-0 lead. C Adam Naglich jammed home a rebound 50 seconds into the game for his 11th of the season. The Condors went up 2-0 on F Gino Guyer's goal with 3:44 remaining in the first period. Bakersfield edged Las Vegas in shots 13-12 through 20 minutes.
In the second period, the Wranglers began chipping away at the lead. At 6:36 of the middle frame, F Greg Collins scored to make it 2-1. The Condors held a 28-23 lead in the shots category after two periods.
RW Erick Lizon appeared to give the Condors a 3-1 lead at 3:24 of the third period, but instead, the goal was disallowed when F Stephane Goulet was called for interference. C Adam Miller scored on the ensuing power play, 4:12 into the final period of regulation to tie the game at two. With just 48.6 seconds left in the third period Bourret put a rebound off the end boards over the goal line to give Las Vegas their first lead of the game. With G Timo Pielmeier pulled, the Condors could not get the equalizer.

Notes from the Nest: F Gino Guyer has goals and points in three straight games (4g-1a)... Bakersfield snapped an eight-game streak of being out-shot, putting up 40 shots to Las Vegas' 29. It was the ninth time this season Bakersfield has had at least 40 shots on goal... The Condors dropped to 22-3-2 when scoring first...
