TONIGHT:

The Ontario Reign (32-13-2-3) will play the Alaska Aces (32-12-2-1) for the second time in as many days at Citizens Business Bank Arena. Following tonight's game the Reign will travel to Anchorage to round out the regular season series against the Aces in a three-game set on the Olympic-sized ice sheet at Sullivan Arena.

LEAN ON ME:

Two recent acquisitions of the Reign, forwards Dylan Hood and Tyler Gron, check in just behind Reign captain Derek Couture as the leading scorers on the team against the Aces this season. Most of their point totals, however, have come while in the service of other ECHL teams. Gron tallied two goals in three games played with the Idaho Steelheads, while Hood put up a goal and two assists against Alaska as a member of the Colorado Eagles.

WHITE-HOT:

In addition to scoring the overtime-winning goal for the Reign on Wednesday night, Matt White has recorded three goals over his last five games, with two - including a shorthanded tally - against Bakersfield last Saturday. That represents a quarter of his 12 goals on the season; the coaching staff has entrusted him with bigger minutes as the season has evolved. In addition to his recent stretch of lighting the lamp, White has also been able to dish out the puck, and is riding a two-game assist streak, with four helpers over that span.
