Everblades Pickup 3-0 Victory over Stingrays

North Charleston, S.C. - The South Carolina Stingrays (30-14-1-3) fell to the Florida Everblades (26-17-2-3) 3-0 on Princess and Pirates with Blackbeard's Cove and Kid's Day inside the North Charleston Coliseum Sunday afternoon.

Everblades forward Philip-Michael Devos grabbed the game's opening goal 2:15 into the second period slipping a shot between the legs of Stingrays goaltender Jeff Jakaits (L, 25 saves on 28 shots) from the bottom of the right-wing circle.

In the third period, forward A.J. Jenks gave the Everblades at two-goal lead at 11:11. Former Stingray Trevor Bruess wrapped up the game scoring powering in his 12 goal of the season at 11:46. Netminder Trevor Cann registered his third shutout of the season and second against the Stingrays stopping all 29 shots faced.
