The SeaWolves return to UPMC Park for game two of the series against the Richmond Flying Squirrels (San Francisco Giants)...Erie earned their third win this season against the Flying Squirrels while handing Richmond their sixth straight loss...A.J. Ladwig worked seven innings against Richmond in the series opener, only allowing one run unearned and striking out six...Isaac Paredes notched his second multi-RBI performance in just his fifth game at the AA level....John Schreiber racked up his 14th save after pitching a scoreless 1.2 IP....With Akron's loss to Altoona Monday, Erie gained some ground in the divisional race now at 11.5 games behind the RubberDucks....Erie sits at 5.5 games out of the wild card behind second place Altoona....This will be the penultimate game of the season series between Erie and Richmond...The SeaWolves have also won six of their last ten contests...Alfred Gutierrez will make his third start of the season for Erie and his first against Richmond...The righty earned his first AA win in his last start against Bowie, only surrendering one unearned run in 5.2 innings of work at Prince George's Stadium....Righty Taylor Hill will try to bounce back after his last start against Erie went south...The former big leaguer gave up four runs on six hits and one walk through 4.0 IP in the eventual 4-3 win for the SeaWolves.
