This will be the only time this season the Pats and the defending WHL champion, Kelowna Rockets will meet this season. In their only game in 2008-09, the Rockets won in a game broadcasted across Western Canada 3-2. In the loss, Jordan Eberle scored both goals, while Linden Rowat stopped 32 Rocket shots.

The last time these two met at the Brandt Centre was exactly two years ago to the day. That game saw Kirt Hill burn his former team with a goal and an assist in a 4-3 Pats win over the Rockets, Also scoring that night was Juraj Valach, Jordan Eberle and Garrett Mitchell.

There are a couple of familiar names on the Rockets in former Swift Current Broncos Geordie Wudrick and goaltender Mark Guggenberger (who has been hurt all season, but may return during their current trip). Here are their top scorers:

Last Action:

The Pats picked up a huge divisional win on Sunday night 4-1 over the Prince Albert Raiders. Jordan Eberle and Jordan Weal each picked up a pair of goals, while Colten Teubert nabbed 3 assists. Damien Ketlo was solid with 25 saves.

On the ice tonight:

Tonight is the final installment of Home Depot's "Race Around the World". Both the semi-finals and finals will run tonight with the winner taking home a World Junior Hockey Championship, Regina ticket package.

Final game in 2009:

This is the final game the Pats will play at the Brandt Centre in 2009. They will make way for Canada's World Junior training camp, which starts Sunday. After the National Team is done here in Regina, the tournament's "B" pool, which included Sweden, Russia, Finland, and the Czech Republic, will start.

In the meantime, the blue and white will make a pair of Central Division trips. The first begins this Friday in Medicine Hat at 7:30 (8:30 Regina time), with stops in Lethbridge, Red Deer, Calgary and Edmonton.

Next Action:

The Pats will take on Willie Desjardins' Medicine Hat Tigers on Friday night in the "Gas City". It's an 8:05 (Regina time) pre-game show on 620 CKRM with the puck dropping at 8:30 at the Medicine Hat Arena.
