Divisional Tilt

After a quick respite and some time at home, the Hawks are back at the VMC with two big points on the line!

Tonight, they face off against the Tri-City Americans for just the third time this year, with each team winning on home ice in the first two contests. The improved Americans are led by top 2023 NHL Draft prospect Lukas Dragicevic on the blue line, as well as veterans like Parker Bell, Jake Sloan and Tyson Greenway. Rookie Jordan Gavin is turning heads with 26 points in 25 games during his first WHL campaign as well. Portland's usual suspects - Robbie Fromm-Delorme, Gabe Klassen, James Stefan, Luca Cagnoni - have led the way for the team in games against Tri-City, and rookie defenseman Alex Thompson tallied his first WHL goal in their last meeting.

Buckle up for a fun battle against a familiar foe!

Sweater Weather

With the holiday break now behind us, WHL teams will switch to white sweaters at home for the majority of the remaining season. But fans of dark uniforms need not fret - the Hawks will sprinkle in their black and red sets on home ice throughout the season, including the second outing for the team's red jerseys tonight!

If you're a fan of the reds, you're in luck - we've received a limited shipment of red adult and youth replica jerseys and will have them available for sale in the team store at tonight's game!

Winterhawks Trading Cards

The third set of Winterhawks player cards has arrived, and the first 500 fans in the building tonight will receive their very own pack!

Litke's 100th

It's a milestone outing for our #9!

Aidan Litke is expected to skate in his 100th WHL game this evening, becoming the fifth Winterhawk to hit the century mark this season. The Winnipeg, Man. product has tallied 27 goals and 27 assists for 54 points through his first 99 games, and is on pace to set career-highs in all three categories with 9-14-23 so far this season.
