Edmonton, AB - The Giants kicked off their Central Division road swing with a 2-1 victory in Edmonton, their third straight win overall. It was Head Coach Michael Dyck's 250th career WHL win.

1st Period:

EDM: Vojtech Port opened the scoring with a breakaway goal 2:23 into the game to put Edmonton ahead 1-0.

VAN: Fifteen minutes later, Colton Langkow redirected a Tom Cadieux point shot, it was a power play goal.

2nd Period:

No Scoring.

3rd Period:

VAN: Mazden Leslie buried the winner on a powerplay at 10:52 of the third period.
