The Winnipeg ICE concluded 13 consecutive road games in convincing fashion Friday night with a 4-1 victory over the Brandon Wheat Kings.

Connor McClennon, Ben Zloty, Ty Nash and Carson Lambos scored as the ICE improved their record to 12-1.

Wheat Kings forward Nolan Ritchie had the lone goal to elude goaltender Dawson Cowan who finished the night making 21 saves.

Winnipeg out shot Brandon 38-22.

Both teams went 1/4 on the power play.

The two teams return to the ICE Cave inside Wayne Fleming Arena tomorrow (Saturday) night at 7:00 for the ICE Home Opener on Youth and Families Celebration Night presented by 103.1 Virgin Radio and the Battle of Manitoba presented by Taylor McCaffrey Lawyers.
