
Fukufuji Added to Roster

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors, official ECHL affiliate of the Anaheim Ducks, announced that G Yutaka Fukufuji has been added to the active roster.
fukufuji hsFukufuji, 26, is in his third season with the Condors and went 18-18-1 in 2007-08 with a 3.39 goals-against average and .899 save percentage. Last season, he became the team's all-time leader in wins (45), saves (2,401), minutes played (4,944) and appearances (90). In his first season with the Condors in 2004-05, Fukufuji set a team record with a 12-game unbeaten streak (9-0-3) and posted a 27-9-5 record. On Jan. 13, 2007, Fukufuji became the first Japanese-born player to play in the NHL when he suited up for the Los Angeles Kings.
