Elmira Jackals News Release

Elmira, NY- The Elmira Jackals, proud member of the ECHL, announced today that forwards Steve Yetman and Pierre-Luc Faubert have been returned by the Binghamton Senators and forward Tyler Donati has been loaned to the Philadelphia Phantoms of the AHL.

Steve Yetman had three career firsts this past weekend. On Friday evening Yetman recorded his first professional hat trick, netting three goals including the game winner with under two minutes to play in regulation boosting the Jackals past Cincinnati 7-6. On Saturday Yetman scored his first professional penalty shot goal in the Jackals 4-1 loss to Wheeling.

Sunday Yetman had his first American Hockey League call up as he traveled across NY 17 to skate for the Binghamton Senators. Along with Yetman was fellow forward Pierre-Luc Faubert who went to the B-Sens for the second time this season. Both skaters returned to Elmira yesterday after the B-Sens took a 9-0 beating to the Hershey Bears on Sunday night. Neither player registered a point while Faubert had two penalty minutes.

With the return of two of the three leading scorers, the Jackals lose their top point producer to the Philadelphia Phantoms of the AHL. Tyler Donati leads the Jackals scoring department and is tied for second in scoring in the ECHL with 19 points (6 G 13 A). Donati will play on Wednesday evening for the Phantoms when they host the Albany River Rats.

Again the talent and location of the Jackals shows its significance in the professional hockey world. The loan of Donati marks the eighth American Hockey League call up this season for the Jackals
