Wings Stadium and KOHA to Honor Adam Hall August 25th During Press Conference at Wings Stadium
Kalamazoo, MI.- Wings Stadium, which is also home to "The Annex" and "The Cube," announces that the Wings Stadium Complex along with the Kalamazoo Optimist Hockey Association Inc. (KOHA) will honor Nashville Predators forward Adam Hall during a Press Conference and Unveiling Ceremony Monday, August 25th at 7:30 pm in "The Cube" Viewing Area.
KOHA is honoring Hall because Adam is the first member of Kalamazoo Optimist Hockey Association to reach the National Hockey League. Kalamazoo's premier youth hockey organization will also unveil a permanent banner of Hall, which will be displayed in the Players Entrance of "The Annex" and "The Cube."
Scheduled to attend the press conference will be Wings Stadium/K-Wings Vice President/General Manager Paul L. Pickard, Director of Public Relations and Broadcaster Mike Modugno, KOHA President Glen Gevaart, KOHA Special Projects Director James H. Geary, KOHA Director of Operations Brian Tulik, Nashville Predator Adam Hall, as well as former coaches and teammates of Adam's during his time with KOHA.
Both media and fans are urged to arrive at the press conference as early as possible for set-up purposes, as KOHA will be starting the press conference promptly at 7:30 pm. For the media's convenience doors will open at 7 pm. Stadium Management Company owns both Wings Stadium Complex and the Kalamazoo Wings hockey team. Wings Stadium Complex is comprised of three buildings; Wings Stadium seats more than 5,100 fans for K-Wings home games and more than 8,000 people for concerts and other stage events. "The Annex" seats 1,367 for ice events and 2,850 for non-ice events such as car, boat, and trade shows. "The Cube" is the newer of the three facilities, that plays host to both ice and non-ice events. All three buildings are available for rental and feature numerous catering and meeting opportunities.
