
Sea Wolves Acquire Adams

BILOXI, Miss. â Mississippi Sea Wolves director of hockey operations and coach Bob Woods announced on Thursday that defenseman B.J. Adams has been acquired in a trade with the Florence Pride for future considerations.
Adams, 27, scored five goals and added 12 assists for a total of 17 points in 63 games last season with the Pee Dee (Florence) Pride, while accumulating 122 penalty minutes. The 6-foot-2, 205-pound native of Scarborough, Ontario enters his fourth full season of professional hockey.
"B.J. is a steady stay-at-home type defenseman with a lot of experience," said Woods. "He's comes highly recommended from a number of sources around the ECHL and we're excited to acquire him."
Mississippi open its eighth ECHL season on Friday, October 17 at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum against the Louisiana IceGators.
