Green Bay, Wisc. - The Battle Creek Bombers (12-17) and Green Bay Bullfrogs (12-16) played a 13 inning marathon on Thursday night with two rain delays that culminated in three wild pitches in the bottom of the 13th to give the Bullfrogs a 3-2 win.

Ethan Bramschreiber (L, 0-1) came in to pitch the 13 and, after striking out Robert Yougndahl, would walk Andrew Ely. He then threw three wild pitches during the next at bat against Jose Godinez, the last of which brought Ely home to end the game.

Bombers' manager Brandon Higelin and hitting coach Joe Oliviera were ejected in the tenth inning after a controversial call at third base where home plate umpire Dylan Cleveland called Cam Gibson out. Rouric Bridgewater rocked a triple off the top of the wall in centerfield in the 11th, but was called out at third on another close call that drew him off the bag.

Matthew Fears hit a go-ahead home run to lead off the top of the ninth giving the Bombers a 2-1 lead. Gabe Berman had the Bullfrogs down to their final strike in the bottom of the ninth, but Boomer White would single, and Tripp Martin tied it up with an RBI-triple. Bryant Burleson smacked a game-tying homerun in the fifth inning to tie the game at one.

Keegan Yuhl steps up for Battle Creek Tomorrow to attempt to end the Bombers' five-game skid. First pitch is set for 8:05 ET.

The Battle Creek Bombers are members of the Northwoods League that has more teams, plays more games, and draws more fans than any other summer collegiate baseball league in America. For information on tickets call (269) 962-0735 or visit BattleCreekBombers.com.
