LAST WEEK'S RECORD: 1-2-0 OVERALL RECORD: 38-13-13, 89 pts., 1st Place Pacific Division

March 22 @ Idaho, 3-0 Loss - The Falcons opened a three-game series in Idaho with their first shutout loss of the season.

March 24 @ Idaho, 6-2 Loss - Fresno suffered back-to-back regulation losses for just the third time this season after getting out-shot 37-18 by the Steelheads, tying a team season-low for shots on goal. Fraser Clair and Dustin VanBallegooie scored in the losing effort.

March 25 @ Idaho, 2-1 Win - The Falcons avoided their first three-game skid of the season by winning the finale in Idaho behind two power play goals from VanBallegooie on his 23rd birthday. Jamie Holden made 39 saves in goal.

THIS WEEK'S UPCOMING GAMES

Monday, March 27 vs. Victoria Salmon Kings, 7 p.m.* - The Falcons return home to play seven of their final eight games of the regular season at Save Mart Center. The first 2,000 fans will receive a free poster of J.F. Plourde courtesy of Supercuts, Dumont Printing, WB 59, and MEGA 97.9. The team is also supporting the Garner Tree Services Tree of Knowledge Book Drive. Fans are asked to bring books to the game appropriate for first through sixth graders, which will be donated to Fresno Covenant Foundation's Tutoring Pals Reading Program.

Tuesday, March 28 vs. Bakersfield Condors, 7 p.m.* - A possible Kelly Cup Playoff preview against the Condors. The game is a Carl's Jr. Two-for-Tuesday, with two-for-one coupons available at participating Carl's Jr. locations.

Friday, March 31 vs. Phoenix RoadRunners, 7 p.m.* - Catch Head Coach Matt Thomas' Chalk Talk at 6:20 p.m. on Save Mart Center's concourse. The first 1,000 kids 12 & younger will receive a Falcons t-shirt bearing the "C" and #2 of Fresno captain Matt O'Dette courtesy of Affluent Lending, KSEE 24, and Y101.

Saturday, April 1 vs. Utah Grizzlies, 7 p.m.* - Celebrate April Fools Day with the Falcons! The first 1,000 kids 12 & younger will receive a Falcons t-shirt bearing the "A" and #19 of Fresno assistant captain Shawn Mather courtesy of Allstate Roofing, CBS 47, and KISS Country.

Sunday, April 2 @ Stockton Thunder, 4 p.m.* - The Falcons play their final road game of the regular season as they face their fifth different opponent of the week.

*Catch all of the live play-by-play action on 1550 Sporting News Radio beginning 15 minutes before face-off with the FutureTek Pre-game Show. B2 Networks' pay-per-view video webcast begins 10 minutes before the drop of the puck via www.fresnofalcons.com.

NOTES

. Luke Curtin begins the week tied for the league scoring lead with 82 points. His current total of 61 assists is second on the Falcons' all-time single season list behind the 80 helpers Glen Gulutzan recorded in 1996-97.

. A win on Monday against Victoria and Fresno will clinch the first division title in the team's 11-year professional history. . The Falcons begin the week with a 10-point lead atop the Pacific Division with three games in hand over the second-place Long Beach Ice Dogs.
