BOISE, Idaho - With their final home game behind them and five road games ahead, the Idaho Steelheads are looking to close out the 2005-06 regular season on a high note. The team has won seven of its last ten (7-3-0) and, until Saturday's 2-1 loss to Fresno, was riding a season-high eight consecutive home-game winning streak. As well, in the last six games, the Steelheads have allowed only seven total goals, while twice holding their opposition scoreless. Ten different skaters have scored the game-winning goals in the Steelheads most successful month of the season (March = 10-3-0).

RECENT TRANSACTIONS:
03/27 Delete TYRELL MOULTON (D) transferred from the 7-day IR to the 30-day IR
03/26 Delete GREG HORNBY (F) placed on the 7-day IR

PRACTICE SCHEDULE:
The Steelheads will practice Tuesday at 10:00 am at Qwest Arena. All Steelheads practices are free and open to the public and media. The team leaves for Long Beach Tuesday afternoon (March 28th) and will return from San Diego on April 6th.

PLAYOFF FEVER:
2005-06 ECHL National Conference, West Division first round playoff schedule are as follows: Currently holding the third seed, Idaho will open the best-of-seven series with Games 1 and 2 at either the Alaska Aces (currently 2nd seed - 104 pts) or the Las Vegas Wranglers (currently 1st seed - 106 pts). Games 3 and 4 will be played at Qwest Arena in Boise on Friday, April 14th and Saturday, April 15th with a 7:10 pm puck drop.

If a Game 5 is necessary against the Aces, the series will go back to Alaska for Games 5 and 6, and a Game 7 would be played in Boise. If the opponent is the Wranglers and a Game 5 is necessary, it will be played in Boise, with Games 6 and 7 going back to Las Vegas.

Tickets for Friday's and Saturday's home games are now on sale at the Qwest Arena Box Office and Select-A-Seat outlets, by calling 331-TIXS (8497). Prices range from $12.50 - $33.50.

Join "Voice of the Steelheads," Joe O'Donnell, on ESPN 1350 KTIK every night from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. for the Bud Light Sports Talk Show.
