Florence Y'alls
On Monday night the Freedom began a short three game road trip in their only stop, Evansville, Indiana. Before the game, the Otters were tied for first with Washington, with Florence being only one game out in second place.
The biggest story of the game was Mike Galloway not being able to extend his record tying hitting streak of 30 games to 31. Congradulations Mr. Galloway on your great run. Galloway went 0-4, with a walk.
Trevor Hall backed him up though, smaking his tenth homerun of the year driving in 2 runs. The newest Freedom member, Darin Kinsolving got going as well, he went 2-4 with a solo shot, his first homer since coming back to the Frontier League. Freedom starter Mark Harris went Five and a third, giving up 1 unearnerd run, striking out three, improving his record to 4-0 on the season. Lenny Bays and Justin Fuller had some problems with the surging Otters' offense, but in the end, Ted Rowe closed it out for his second save of the season. Freedom take the contest, 6-5.
