Florence Y'alls
After just 5 months on the job, Florence Freedom General Manager has been fired by Owner Clint Brown.
Brown had this to say; "We were not reaching our goals, and Pat and I were not in agreement as to how to go forward, he wasn't a good fit for us."
Daly came to the Freedom with 20 years' experience in minor-league baseball management. He was general manager of two other clubs in the Frontier League, the Mid-Missouri Mavericks and River City Rascals. Florence doesn't plan to replace Daly this season, they said they will have an "Office of the GM" consisting of assistant general manager Morgan West, director of baseball operations/field manager Jamie Keefe and director of ticket sales and operations Yumi Blackburn.
