Richmond, Indiana: Florence went into last night's game looking to clinch a series victory over Richmond, and keep pace with Washington for first place in the East, but unfortunately, the Roosters won in a tight 5-3 victory.
Mike Galloway snapped out of another slump, hitting two solo shots, one in the second and one in the seventh. In the bottom of the seventh, with the Freedom leading 3-1, Mike Bidwell and Nate Gravely both scored for the Roosters to tie the game at three. The Roosters took the lead for good on a solo shot by Tony Sanguinetti. Nate Gravely singled in another run, and the Roosters came out on top, 5-3.
The Freedom wrap up the series tonight in Richmond, they then head out for a three game set in Chillicothe, to face the former team of manager Jamie Keefe, the Chillicothe Paints. The Freedom return home to Champion Window Field Wednesday night to face the Windy City Thunderbolts, it will be autograph night.
