Chillicothe, Ohio: Game one of the most crucial series for both teams began last night between the Freedom and the Paints, the Paints took Game one, 8-5.
Joe Holland and Trevor Hall lead the offense for Florence, Holland went 3-4, and Hall went 1-5 with a two run homerun, his 20th of the season. Hall added another RBI on the night. Jason Bowlin (9-4) picked up the loss, while Perry Cunningham (10-5) picked up the win in relief for the Paints.
Game two of the series is tonight at VA Memorial Stadium in Chillicothe. The Freedom are now four games back of Chillicothe, for the final playoff spot. First pitch tonight is scheduled for 7:05 in Chillicothe.
