Florence, Kentucky: Another nice crowd of 3,146 ascended upon Champion Window Field for Champion Window Super Saturday. Florence sent Jason Bowlin to the hill, while Kalamazoo sent Joe DiPietro.

Kalamazoo took control of the game early, putting up four runs in the top of the first. Florence answered in the fifth, after Nate Yoho tripled, Nick Salotti sent him home with a double. After J.D. Foust doubled in Salotti, Foust scored on a Greg Stone single. The lead was just 4-3 after five. Florence took the lead in the sixth, J.D. Foust slammed a homerun to left field, scoring three runs. After six it was 6-5 Freedom. Unfortunately, Kalamazoo tied the game in the seventh, and took the lead in the ninth, and led 7-6 going into the bottom of the ninth. Florence loaded the bases with one out, but Beau Blacken flied out, and Andrew Smith was thrown out at home tagging up for the game ending 8-2 double play.

Florence will wrap up their six game homestand tonight at Champion Window Field, first pitch scheduled for 6:05. It's Kentucky Enquirer Family Sunday, and the Bobbletower giveaway.
