Freedom Begin Second Half with Six Game Homestand

FLORENCE, Ky - The Florence Freedom, presented by Titan Mechanical Solutions, have won three straight series and will look to make it four, beginning Friday night against Southern Illinois. Fresh off the All-Star break, the Freedom welcome the Miners to Northern Kentucky for the second and final time this season over the weekend, and after a day off on Monday, it will be a mid-week tilt with the Traverse City Beach Bums at UC Health Stadium starting next Tuesday. The Freedom have won six of their last ten games and have an even 25-25 record on the season.

Fans are rewarded for purchasing tickets in advance of game day, as reserved tickets start at just $9 ($3 savings per ticket) when purchased in advance. Promotions in this series include the following:

Friday

The home stand gets started on Friday night with Girl Power Night featuring characters from A Characteristic Attitude. It's a baseball game PLUS Your favorite female superheroes will be out at the ballpark! Get pictures, autographs, and interact with the heroes on the concourse. In addition, it's Arlinghaus Heating and Air Conditioning Fireworks Friday w/ post-game fireworks detonated by Elite Pyrotechnics.

After the game, the Girl Scouts and American Heritage Girls will be camping out on the field post-game. Parents and guardians purchasing tickets as a part of a troop MUST order their tickets through Zach Ziler. For more information, or to purchase tickets, call 859-594-4487 extension 16.

Gates will open at 6:05 p.m., and first pitch is schedule for 7:05 p.m..

Saturday

Saturday sees the return of Superhero Night! It will be here in a flash! Don't miss the most anticipated Superhero Night EVER at UC Health Stadium! More DC Universe characters and the flashiest on-field jerseys we've ever done! Saturday, July 14th is a must for fans of all ages. Enjoy pictures on the concourse and post-game kickball on the field for kids 12 and under. These superheroes will be at the game: Poison Ivy, Batman (1960s), Batman (animated series), Harley Quinn, Wonder Woman, Flash. Supergirl, and Robin.

Also, enjoy a post-game concert on the Cornerstone Lillie Band Stand behind the first base line.

Sunday

It's Volunteer Appreciation Day on Sunday! The Freedom are giving back to the community more than ever in 2018. Come and enjoy a game with your local volunteers and help say thank you to those who dedicate great time to serve our community.

Enjoy a pre-game parade around the infield with volunteers and nominate someone to be recognized with the Freedom Volunteer of the Year award (please submit 250 word or less entry for consideration to Max Johnson).

Tuesday

On Tuesday, July 17th, the Florence Freedom are saluting all of the neighboring first responders with Hometown Heroes Night. All police, firefighters, and EMT's have a ticket to enjoy the game along with their families. Complimentary tickets are thanks to our fantastic community business partners.

It's also a Taco Tuesday! Enjoy $2 tacos and $2 10oz Cerveza Mexican Style Lagers.

Wednesday

You can't miss this! It's Circus Day at UC Health Stadium on Wednesday, July 18th with our friends from the Cincinnati Circus!

The Freedom take on the Beach Bums of Traverse City Michigan at 10:35am with exciting on-field performances, magic tricks, and more! Summer camps and day care centers should book their tickets well in advance to avoid and seating issues.

Individual tickets go on sale April 1st. Summer camps, day care centers, and groups should contact Max Johnson to reserve seats and guarantee available seating. Max's phone extension is 859-594-4487 ext 22.

This summer when the Florence Freedom, presented by Titan Mechanical Solutions, play at home on Wednesdays, fans will be treated to a whole host of promotions both at the concession stands, and at the gates.

The Roehr Insurance Agency sponsors Wednesday winning insurance. If the Freedom for whatever reason don't win on Wednesdays, fans can redeem their ticket for the final home game of the season (August 30th).

Boone County Distilling presents Whiskey Wednesday during each Wednesday home game. Boone County Distilling products will be $1 off at the Freedom Bar.

Kentucky Proud also presents discounts on a host of Kentucky Proud products, supporting Kentucky agriculture. Save $1 on Kentucky Proud products like Glier's hot dogs, Stonebrook Winery wine and popcorn at the concession stands.

Thursday

The final game of the series is a Thirsty Thursday, with first pitch set for 6:35 PM and gates opening at 5:35 PM. The night is presented by Miller Lite and WEBN. presented by Miller Lite and WEBN. Enjoy $1 Miller Lite and $1 Coors Light drafts all night long.
