Milwaukee, WI--Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has recalled defenseman Cody Franson from the Milwaukee Admirals.

The recall is the first of his career for Franson, who has a goal and an assist in the Admirals first three games this year. Nashville's third selection in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft, Franson was selected to the AHL's All-Rookie Team in the 2007-08 campaign after leading league rookie defensemen in goals scored (11), assists (23), and points (34) in 69 games with the Admirals.
